The EVOLON® unique duvets and pillows are dedicated to allergy sufferers, made from the revolutionary barrier material Evolon®, whose manufacturer and owner of the Evolon® trademark is Carl Freudenberg AG.

The innovative production technology of this microfibre makes it impermeable to allergens as a barrier material. Evolon® is made from a combination of polyester (70%) and polyamide (30%) fibres arranged alternately in a microfibre. They are 0.1 to 0.2 dtex thick, i.e. 100 times thinner than a human hair. It is this unique technology that makes its properties practically unattainable for most similar materials, while at the same time Evolon® breathes perfectly and is extremely velvety to the touch.

The Evolon® duvet, is characterised by both softness and high springiness. The Hollow polyester fibres used as the filling of the duvet are very light and give the duvet its fluffiness. They provide excellent heat retention, evenly distributed over the entire surface. The duvet keeps its shape for a long time because the Hollow fibres are extremely strong and crease-resistant. They also have hypoallergenic properties and prevent the build-up of dust mites.

Pillows from the Evolon® collection are filled with Amball® polyester balls, which, like the Hollow fibres in duvets, have anti-allergic properties and prevent dust and dust mite deposition. They are well air-permeable and do not clump during use ensuring a comfortable sleep.

Evolon® is certified Oeko-Tex 100 Class 1, which confirms that it contains no harmful substances and is suitable for contact with baby's skin.

The properties of Evolon® are also guaranteed by its certification by ECARF - the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation.
