Anti-Reflux Wedge Pillow 40x60

Doctors and midwives recommend that babies sleep on a flat and firm surface. During the first few weeks, traditional pillows should be avoided, and a wedge pillow should be used so that the baby sleeps on a flat surface with the head elevated relative to the body.

The infant wedge pillow helps with breathing and, by raising the baby’s head, prevents food reflux to minimise the risk of choking. Using it provides the baby with safe and stable support for the neck and head. It ensures a comfortable lying position while keeping the head slightly elevated above the rest of the body.

The wedge is made of ventilated polyurethane foam. The holes allow for the free flow of fresh air and prevent the pillow from overheating, thus avoiding the baby’s head sweating while sleeping.

Included with the wedge pillow is a high-quality, four-layer cover with excellent air circulation, made of soft, durable cotton knit with an Oeko Tex Standard certification ensuring the highest product quality. The cover is easy to remove, machine washable, and suitable for spin drying.
