Premium Children's Mattresses: Léto 10 cm, Perséphone 13 cm or Rhéa 16 cm. Which One Should You Choose?
Children's sleep deserves special attention, right down to the choice of mattress. Designed to support them through every stage of their growth, the Mon Lit Cabane Premium collection welcomes three new models: Léto (10 cm), Perséphone (13 cm) and Rhéa (16 cm). Three thicknesses, three levels of comfort, all with the same commitment to softness and quality. From occasional sleeping arrangements to everyday use, from the first trundle bed to the beds of older children, each model has its place.
In this guide, we take a closer look at the composition, available sizes, prices and intended uses of each mattress, helping you find the right one from the very start.
What do all 3 Premium mattresses have in common?
Before comparing them, here are the features that define the Premium range:
* A Silvercare cover enriched with silver ions: hypoallergenic, breathable and soft to the touch, it helps limit the growth of bacteria and mould. It is also resistant to stains and abrasion.
* OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification for the cover.
* A fully removable cover, designed to be easily taken off from the top of the mattress, making everyday care simple, even after nighttime accidents.
* A honeycomb-textured side that encourages air circulation between your child's body and the core of the mattress.
* Compliance with EN 16890, the standard applicable to children's mattresses.
* European manufacturing (Poland) and a 2-year guarantee.
* An optional waterproof mattress protector, to help protect your investment (€20).

Léto 10 cm mattress: designed for clever space-saving solutions
The Léto 10 cm mattress is designed as a high-quality occasional sleeping option.
It combines two foam layers with different densities: 6 cm of T25 foam for comfort and 3 cm of denser T35 foam for enhanced support and long-lasting shape retention. A 1 cm Silvercare cover completes the mattress.
Why choose it?
* At just 10 cm thick, it is particularly well suited to trundle beds and occasional beds, where mattress height needs to be carefully considered.
* Its dual-density construction offers a good balance between comfort and support, without unnecessary thickness.
* It is the most affordable model in the range, with prices starting at €170.
* It also offers the widest choice of sizes, including cot sizes.
Good to know: At 10 cm thick, Léto is a relatively slim mattress. For everyday sleeping in a bed without height restrictions, a thicker model such as Perséphone or Rhéa will offer greater comfort.
Perséphone 13 cm mattress: firm, breathable support
The Perséphone 13 cm mattress combines three materials: 9 cm of T25 foam, 2 cm of latex and 1 cm of natural coconut fibre, topped with a 1 cm Silvercare cover.
Each material has its own purpose: latex provides flexibility and a comfortable feel, while coconut fibre adds firmness and naturally encourages airflow through the mattress. The honeycomb-textured side further improves ventilation. Its firmness is rated between H3 (medium-firm) and H4 (firm).
Why choose it?
* Stable support while maintaining a comfortable feel.
* Excellent breathability thanks to the coconut fibre, latex and honeycomb-textured side.
* A 13 cm thickness, ideal for everyday sleeping.
* A composition featuring natural materials (latex and coconut fibre), particularly appealing to parents who pay close attention to the materials used.
Good to know: Perséphone is only available in standard sizes (from 80 to 90 cm wide). For a cot or a double bed, consider the Léto or Rhéa mattresses instead.
Rhéa 16 cm mattress: enveloping comfort with memory foam
The Rhéa 16 cm mattress is the premium model in the collection. It consists of 12 cm of T25 foam, providing stability and support, combined with 3 cm of viscoelastic memory foam for a softer, more enveloping feel. A 1 cm Silvercare cover completes the mattress. Its firmness is rated H3 (medium-firm).
Why choose it?
* The most enveloping comfort in the range, thanks to its memory foam layer.
* A thick, stable and durable T25 foam base.
* The only model available in wider sizes: 105x190, 120x190, 140x190 and 140x200 cm.
* Ideal for older children, teenagers and larger beds.
Good to know: At 16 cm thick, Rhéa is the thickest mattress in our Premium range.
Check the available sleeping depth of your bed before ordering (see our advice below).
Which mattress should you choose for your bed size?
Size is the first selection criterion, as it immediately narrows down the available options.

How to measure correctly
1. Measure the inside of the bed frame (or bed base): the usable width and length, not the external dimensions.
2. Check the available mattress depth (the space between the bottom of the bed and the top of the bed frame).
3. For beds with safety rails (house beds, bunk beds and mid-sleeper beds), remember that the thicker the mattress, the less of the safety rail will remain visible. Check the remaining rail height once the mattress is in place, referring to your bed's instructions.
4. The mattress should fit snugly within the frame, without leaving significant gaps, particularly for younger children.
Which mattress is best for each age and sleeping arrangement?
* For a baby (60x120 cm cot): the Léto 60x120 cm is the only suitable size. It complies with the EN 16890 standard, and its removable cover makes everyday care easier.
* For a toddler in an extendable bed or house bed: choose the Léto in 70x140 cm or the Perséphone in 80x160 cm, depending on the bed.
* For a child sleeping in a single bed every night: the firm, breathable Perséphone 13 cm is an excellent choice.
* For overnight guests, naps and trundle beds: the Léto 10 cm is ideal.
* For an older child, a teenager or a shared sleeping arrangement: the Rhéa 16 cm, available in sizes up to 140x200 cm.
Accessories you won't want to forget
To help extend the lifespan of your Premium mattress, consider adding:
* A waterproof mattress protector (€20): available as an optional extra when ordering and particularly useful for protecting against little accidents.
* A fitted sheet in the right size for your mattress (from €17): choose one suited to your mattress thickness so that it stays securely in place.
* A duvet and pillow suited to your child's age: discover the range in the bedding section of our shop.
